The House at Summerlee offers you a private 2 bedroom home accommodating 5 people in the historic centre of Charlottetown where you can follow your own whims about preparing meals, relaxing on the deck or the swing without being bothered by others. It's like having a cottage a short drive from the beach but with all the convenience of restaurants, theatres, galleries, boutiques and the waterfront nearby.

On the main floor is a large living room with hardwood floor, sofa and loveseat, a rocking chair and fireplace where you can read or watch TV. The modern kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with stove, full size fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes etc that allow you to make all the meals you like. There is a pantry and plenty of storage and the window looks out on your private deck where a glass of island wine tastes delicious as you gather round the wrought iron table with family and friends before heading off for an evening out. The canopied swing on the second deck is ideal for an afternoon snooze in the sun.

Upstairs are two large bedrooms with wall to wall carpet– one on the front overlooking the park and into the sunsets, has mahogany antiques and wicker chairs, a queen size bed, a closet and lots of drawer space and the other on the rear looks over the garden in the morning sunshine. It has a queen bed and a daybed, ample closet and drawer space and wicker chairs. Both rooms have a Victorian feel but are bright and cheerful.

The tiled bathroom is completely new with bath and shower, pedestal sink, a cabinet and extra shelving. You never run out of hot water. Towels and bed linens are supplied.

There is a phone with free local calls and free wireless internet. Parking is at the door. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed. There is no smoking anywhere on the property.
